MST Weekly Update
February 24, 2023
There is little new to report this week as we had two days off and a late arrival. Yesterday was supposed to be a Remote Leaning Day, but on Wednesday school district officials determined that all of the pieces were not adequately in place for it to be a successful day. We will be doing a trial run during school on March 7th, with the students in the building. After that, any additional weather-related cancellations will most likely be a remote learning day.
I want to wish all of our students and staff a wonderful vacation week. Safe travels to anyone who is traveling next week. We will see everyone back here on Monday March 6th.
Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS)
On Wednesday March 8th, we are going to be administering the 2023 Youth Risk Behavior Survey in all of our advisories. This survey is about health behavior. It has been developed so students can tell us what they do that may affect their health. The information that they give will be used to improve health education for young people in New Hampshire.
The survey is anonymous, students DO NOT write their name on this survey. The answers that they give will be kept private. No one will know what they write. They are asked to answer the questions based on what you really do. Completing the survey is voluntary. If they are not comfortable answering a question, just leave it blank.
If you would like to see a copy of the survey, you can find it at Form Approved (nh.gov)
If you want to opt your child out of this survey, you must complete the attached form below and return it to the school by Tuesday March 7th. This survey does provide valuable information to help our schools address problems and concerns of students, so I highly recommend that they do participate.
