The Prowler
Week of January 22, 2024
From Mr. Moreno's Desk:
Teachers, Staff, Parents, and Students,
This past Friday, January 19, 2024 marked the end of the third six weeks and the end of the first semester. That said, report cards will be issued out to students on Wednesday, January 24th during their second period classes. We remind parents to please review report cards, sign, and have students return them to their second period teacher. RHMS is hosting a report card night fundraiser at Peter Piper Pizza in Harlingen, Texas. RHMS will receive 15% of sales for all purchases from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. as long as you let the cashiers know you are there supporting Rio Hondo Middle School. All proceeds will be utilized for student incentives. We hope to see everyone there!

”Being humble as a leader doesn’t mean you don’t have confidence, or that your ideas don’t matter, or that you aren’t decisive or strong. Being humble is thinking of others, listening, being willing to learn, and also giving others the chance to exercise their leadership.” @DavidGeurin
“Relationships with others are the most important factor in cultivating a culture of trust and influence. Approach each situation with an understanding that at the heart of every problem is a conversation to be had. @casas_jimmy #Culturize
