Happy Mother's Day, Cucinella!

I hope you had the opportunity to celebrate the important Moms in your lives today!

Last week was Teacher Appreciation Week at Cucinella. We want to thank the Cucinella PTO for all the nice things they did around the building last week for our staff. From decorating the classrooms and hallways, to providing us with food and treats, we thank all who helped participate to make last week special for our teachers and staff!

Last week also saw us wrap up NJSLA assessments for our 3rd through 5th grade students. Make up testing will take place this upcoming week on an as needed basis.

Attention parents of our incoming Kindergarten students, if you have registered your child for kindergarten, we will be holding our Kindergarten Roundup on Monday & Tuesday, June 5th & 6th. The roundup will last approximately an hour and fifteen minutes. There will be two session, one at 8:30 and another at 10:30. During this time, the incoming students will participate in a variety of activities with our Kindergarten staff. These activities help us to learn more about them as students and individuals.

While the students are off having fun with their teachers, the parents will be meeting with Mr. Perruso, Mr. Serfozo, Mrs. McCool, and Nurse Ewer so that we can provide you with an overview of Kindergarten and additional information you may need as your child embarks on his/her journey into education! We are looking forward to seeing you.

Be on the lookout for an email this Tuesday with a sign-up genius link to sign up for the Kindergarten round up.

It's that time of year! We are looking to get our incoming Kindergarten students registered for the 2023-2024 school year. If you have a child who will be five years old on or before October 1st, 2023, please register for kindergarten. Early registration allows us to plan for the appropriate class size for the upcoming school year. We are hoping to have students registered by February 18th. The lost and found is housed directly outside of the Main Office, and we are happy to help students if they are looking for something in particular. Thanks again to Mrs. Inskeep for keeping this updated and accurate. The next step of integration is we now exclusively use PickUp Patrol for recording your child's absences. Please click here to review how to use the program to record absences.

The absence line which was previously used to record absences has now been disconnected.

Our secretaries and nurse are no longer checking phone messages for absences. This information is now handled exclusively through the PickUp Patrol app. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to integrate this new attendance management system.
