Galileo STEM Academy will be hosting the Idaho Regional Botball and Jr. Botball robotics tournament on Saturday, April 22nd . If you would like to help with judging, or selling snacks, we would greatly appreciate it. You do not need any experience; you will be trained the day of the tournament. The doors will open at 8 AM, the teams will practice until 10 AM. The seeding rounds will begin at 10 AM. We expect to finish between 3 PM and 4 PM.

Please consider supporting our school's robotics program at this exciting event!

If your company is interested in sponsoring our robotics teams, please contact Gina Kwid, Stacie Knight, or Beth Bivens.

Dogs are wonderful companions but are not kind to our turf. Dogs are not allowed on the turf and please clean up your dog's mess when taking them on a walk on school grounds.

8th grade parents: Please look for an email regarding RSVP's and forms for celebration.

PTA's final General Meeting of the year will be on Thursday, April 20th at 4:30 pm. Call-in details will be posted on the PTA website closer to the meeting date.

2023-2024 OPEN PTA BOARD POSITIONS

We are so grateful for those who volunteer their time and talents to help keep the Galileo PTA going strong! Most of our board positions are nearing the end of their terms and we are looking to fill the following positions for the 2023-2024 school year:

• Vice-President
• Director of School Services
• Director of Media and Communications

If you have a couple of hours during the day that you can spare, we have some paid noon duty positions that need to be filled. Hours are from 11:30-1:00. Tuesday and Thursday are our greatest needs. If you are interested, please contact the Galileo office.

Dear Galileo neighbors -

In an effort to keep our students safe and our campus secure, we ask that you please close the gate behind you when you enter the school grounds using the walking path.

Please help us be good neighbors by respecting neighbors' driveways and access as you park near Galileo. Also, please don't park and leave your car unattended in a line that is moving. If you need to leave your car unattended, use one of the parking spots in the main parking lot.

Please remember that Galileo is a closed campus from 8:30-4:30. This includes the walking path and playground areas. Visitors who haven't checked into the office will be asked to check in or to leave campus.

Please check the lost and found for any missing items each Friday. Leftover items will be donated periodically.

Please call the attendance line before 9:30am if your child will be absent for any reason, or will be late to school. Please state your child’s name, teacher and reason for absence. If you are planning a vacation and your student will be absent three or more days please fill out the notification of absence form found here. This form does not excuse the absences, but will help keep everyone informed.
