Thank You, TCE Families!

Thank you all for making Teacher Appreciation Week so special for our TCE staff! We all felt celebrated and appreciated throughout the week thanks to all of you. We loved all the sweet notes, delicious treats, daily fun and prizes, and the words of encouragement you took time out of your day to share with us. Thank you all for being a part of our TCE community and supporting our staff!

Join Us! CISD Run to Fund

Don't forget to register and join us for the Coppell ISD Education Foundation’s annual Run to Fund at Andy Brown East Park on Saturday, May 13. This year’s event will include a 1-Mile Fun Run perfect for adults and children of all ages followed by a 5K, timed and untimed. We can’t wait to see you and our community at this fun event that benefits the teachers and students of Coppell ISD. Register at coppellisdef.org, and we look forward to seeing all of our TCE Texans there!

Reminder: Friday Lunch Visitors

Here are some answers to questions you might have:

What is the process for visiting my child at lunch?

1. Sign-in at the office
Lunch visitors will be required to sign in at the front office and receive a visitor badge that must be worn at all times. We will need to see a photo ID (either your license or passport).

2. Eat lunch with your child
You will be able to eat lunch with your child in the cafeteria. There will be designated tables for lunch visitors. You may only eat with your child. No other learners may be invited to eat with you. You may purchase lunch in the cafeteria or bring a lunch with you.

3. Sign out in the office
Parents will be dismissed from the cafeteria. You will need to go back through the front office to sign out at the end of lunchtime. Parents will not be able to join their child(ren) back in the class or at recess.


Who can visit my child for lunch?

District guidelines limit lunchroom visitors at the elementary level to parents, immediate family members with written permission from a parent, and campus mentors. Immediate family members are defined as the student’s parents/step-parents, siblings, grandparents, or any person residing in the home. A parent can list the person(s) who have permission to have lunch for the entire school year.

If anyone other than the parent(s) listed as guardians in our district eschool system is eating with the child, we will need written documentation of your approval. I have attached a copy of the form below, and we will have copies in the office, as well.

Volunteer Background Check Form - REQUIRED TO VOLUNTEER
If you anticipate volunteering on campus at all this year, please fill out. A new one must be completed each school year.

Yearbook Signing Party in Gym during the school day- students will be able to get their yearbooks signed by TCE staff and students. All students will be able to attend.

5th Grade Graduation 1:00 p.m. for families of 5th graders

Friday, May 26th

Early Release 12:30 p.m.
