REGISTRATION FOR 21/22 SCHOOL YEAR IS NOW OPEN!!
PLEASE READ ABOUT REMOTING IN WHEN SICK
If in-person learning is selected, students must attend in-person unless there is an extenuating circumstance, which must be discussed with your child’s school for approval. Per approval, your child will be able to participate in remote learning.
If the extenuating circumstances are not approved by your child’s school, your child runs the risk of receiving an unexcused absence and will not be able to participate remotely.
PLEASE CALL YOUR CHILD INTO SCHOOL IF THEY ARE SICK OR THEY ARE USING REMOTE CODE!! If the office thinks the child is in person and they stay home with no call into school, this can become a safety concern. Leave a message on the office line or the Absence line. (630) 279-6160 ext. 2001 or email Kbeckwith@saltcreek48.org
SAFTY ALERT! PLEASE READ!
For the safety of ALL students, Please DO NOT use Myrtle Drive for drop-off and/or pickup. Only if the buses are gone(7:40AM-11:55AM) may you pull up and use Myrtle during severe weather. Students should never cross a street without a crosswalk and should not walk or be dropped off in between buses. Myrtle Drive will only be used as a BUS ZONE, NEVER drive past the buses when their lights are flashing. It is against the law and for the safety of the students. We have parking spots on Harrison Avenue, which is where parents can park to drop-off and/or pickup.

FROM THE HEALTH OFFICE
All Illinois children in 6th grade, or any new student to the district (grades 5-8), are required by the state to provide school with proof of a dental exam by May 15, 2021. Any dental exam completed between November 2019 and May 15, 2021 will fulfill the state's requirement. If a dental exam form is not received by May 15, 2021, the school may hold the child's report card until proof of a dental examination form is received or until the school receives proof (ex: appointment card) that a dental examination will take place within 60 days after May 15, 2021.
