It is time to prepare for observations. We will talk more about this in tomorrow's faculty meeting. Here is some preliminary information and dates for you....
1- Log into Cognia and set your primary evaluator as me and your secondary evaluator as Dr. Spann. You access this through the AIM portal (link below), then click on the Teacher Effectiveness square.
If you cannot access your account, please let me know immediately.

2- Complete your self assessment and Professional Learning Goals by September 25. You will have to write 2 goals, one for the domain of Planning and Instruction and one for the domain of Instructional Strategies. The goal for planning and instruction will be given to you based on our ACIP goals. The goal for instructional strategies will be your own goal and how you would like to improve professionally. Both goals must be written as SMART goals and you must provide data to support your progress toward or meeting the goal.
We'll discuss this more tomorrow.😊
SHS Spirit Week
Sparkman High School's homecoming is this Friday,Sept. 13th. As a member of the SHS family, Endeavor is supporting the Senators with a Spirit Week on Sept. 9-13. On Monday through Thursday of that week, student council members from Sparkman High School will join us in our morning car line to help celebrate and spread some spirit! On Friday, Sept. 13th, SHS football players and cheer leaders will join us! The class who shows the most spirit (in each grade level) will win football tickets to the homecoming football game. The winning class will be announced and visited by the SHS football players and cheerleaders. Let's get into some spirit and support our feeder high school. GO SENATORS!

News...
1- Room Parent/Parent Volunteers: This Friday, The Frosty Cow Ice Cream Truck will be on campus. We will follow the same procedures as we did with Kona Ice. The Frosty Cow has pre-packaged ice creams. I have included the menu below. Please ask your room parent or volunteers to assist with your class on this day to make the purchasing of ice cream go a bit faster.
2- New Sidewalk: On Monday, a new sidewalk is being put in to extend the sidewalk from carline to the 5th grade entrance. This will help extend our carline and hopefully allow for a faster arrival and dismissal. More details to come! Workers will be on campus at 7:40am tomorrow.
3- Spirit Week: This week is spirit week! One class per grade level will win one student admission to the SHS homecoming game this Friday. Please take a picture of your students who participate each day and place them in the drive (link below). The winning class will be named on Friday.
