Smiles Dental Program Opportunity

Taking care of your child’s oral health to keep them healthy!
Dear Plymouth Families,
Great News! the Plymouth Public Schools is partnering for the fourth consecutive year with the Smiles Dental Program to offer in-school dental services during the 2023-24 School Year! The local dental team will come to your child’s school 2 times during the year on pre-scheduled dates 6 months apart.
In addition, please note the following:
Private insurance and affordable self-pay options are available
There is no cost to you if your child is insured with Medicaid or CHIP
Consideration will be given
Having your child seen by the in-school dentist saves you valuable time. Top quality oral health care is provided by a local, licensed dentist in the familiar surroundings of your child’s school – a comprehensive oral health exam, x-rays, cleaning, fluoride application (optional) - and sealants (when needed) are provided. Restorative care, such as fillings will also be provided if necessary.
By having your child see the in-school dentist, you can help reduce the following risks:
early tooth loss caused by dental decay
gum disease
heart disease
Do not hesitate to reach out to Carilyn Rains, School Health Services’ Director, if you have any questions regarding the Smiles Mobile Dentist Program: (508) 224-5095.
