Columbia Central Weekly Bulletin
Week of September 25th
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Please take a look at events happening this week.
You will see that we have Family Math Night on Thursday, September 28. This is a great opportunity for you to learn more about our new math curriculum.
The deadline for vaccinations for 6th grade students is October 15. Students will be excluded from school if they don't have the required vaccinations. Please read below for more information from our school nurse. We definitely do not want students to miss any school. Please reach out to us if you have any questions.
We are excited to bring back cheerleading to Columbia Central. It has been a few years since this has happened in our building. We look forward to Ms. Mitchell, new 5th grade teacher (pictured below), spearheading cheerleading for 5th through 8th grade students this school year.
As a reminder, it is very important that you support our student ID / lanyard school rule. Please remember to remind your child to wear a lanyard / ID every day. This initiative increases the safety for all of our students. Repeated violations of this may result in your child being ineligible to participate in after school extracurricular.
Let's make it a great week at Columbia.
