R-PTLE Weekly Family Communication
Week of February 5th, 2024 (#22)
Next Month is up - Bring on February!
Dear Families,
My one highlight. We have a new program this year and it will be kicking off soon. The new program is called Total Trek Quest (info is below). This is for 3rd and 4th grade boys. Total Trek Quest offers curriculum backed lessons twice a week. Similar in nature to the curriculum backed program for our 3rd/4th grade girls, Girls on the Run. Looking for two volunteers to help us with this program. Dads and Moms are encouraged to volunteer with TTQ! Please reach out to me if you are interested in joining this cool program.
Please look over the information below, weekly, so not to miss opportunities to sign up when information for district wide events, sports, camps, etc, are advertised. Many ways to connect with Rockets everywhere!

February's Monthly Theme is Kindness!

Kindness is the ability and willingness to express care and compassion for others. Kindness is a choice to use our time, talent, and resources to better the lives of others and the world through genuine acts of love, compassion, generosity, and service.

The link below will give a full explanation. For this paragraph, this program is basically the parallel of Girls On The Run for our Boys. All 3rd and 4th grade Boys are eligible for this program. All we need are Boys to sign up and two Volunteer Coaches for this program to thrive.
