Cougar boys' will compete in their first district game at home against LASA on Dec. 6! Following, the boys will compete against Eastside (@Eastside - 9 Dec) and Travis (@Home- 13 Dec).

November Teacher of the Month!
Student Council is excited to congratulate our November Teacher of the Month, Roger Morgan!!
According to an overwhelming number of students, Mr. Morgan deserves to be Teacher of the Month because:
- "Mr. Morgan provides a safe space for all, and welcomes each and every person that walks through his door. He tries to connect with each of us and tells us jokes to lighten the mood. If any teacher deserves this award, its him."

- "He is very good at teaching and his class is always very fun."
- "He is the best; he's funny and let's us play games. I've seen students be rude to him yet he never gets mad at them. He also gave our class a ice cream sandwich. Honestly he is just the best."
- "He is very supportive and helpful towards his students. He makes his class fun."
- "he is a great teacher that puts his students first and gives us the tools we need to succeed."
- "He clear our way to the mastery of ICT supporting every student who need help"

Mr. Healey because "he keeps class engaging and helps students when they are confused. He is fun, creates a safe classroom environment, he’s very patient with us, and has helped me to understand math better than any teacher previously. Also he’s just very nice."
Mr. Gurany because "He’s very kind and appreciative of all his students and it’s clear that he cares for them."
Mr. Hillsman because "we talk about music sometimes."
Mr. Palacios because "He gives effective and hilarious analogies when he teaches."
Ms. Lane because "she’s awesome and I love her class; she helps me be the truest version of myself"
Mr. Cater because "He cares for all his students and his goal is for us to actually take away something from his lessons; I love his class and his character."
Coach Porras because "Porras = Awesomeness. He’s a really nice teacher, and also a great coach. He’s so understanding of students, and I feel like he really connects with us."
Ms. Flores because "She cares about her students and pushes them to be the best they can. She believed everyone can achieve greatness and I appreciate the love she has for her job and what she teaches."
Mr. Gannaway because "He’s an amazing coach and is really supportive"
