- The iPad Damage Optional Insurance program is designed to help offset the costs of a lost or damaged iPad to families. - Although the option to set up a passcode is available for Elementary student iPads, we are asking that parents do not allow students to set up this feature. Students often forget their passcode and it becomes a disruption to their learning.
- Parental Restrictions on District Student iPads: Apple’s Screen Time tool allows parents to set up additional restrictions on their child’s district iPad. Click here to learn more about setting up Screen Time restrictions.
- Parental Controls: Using Apple’s Screen Time Setting: Apple has provided a tool called Screen Time to let parents know how much time their children spend on apps, websites, and more. Now families can make more informed decisions about how children use their devices and set limits if they’d like. Read more about Apple’s Screen Time here.
