August 3-4, 2016
Day 1
Day 1 will feature keynote speaker Joanne Billingsley, former regional Texas Teacher of the Year, consultant, author, and nationally-acclaimed lecturer. Described as "authentic" and "in touch with teachers" Joanne inspires and motivates educators to explore new techniques for reaching and teaching all students, particularly ELLs, special education students and those that struggle to succeed in school.
Day 2
Day 2 of the Summer Institute will feature a variety breakout sessions for all grade levels and subjects, including technology sessions, designed for teachers of English learners.
