Edition 1, September 6-17

Welcome back, Knights!

We are so thrilled to welcome back our John Champe Knights. It's incredible to see and hear the halls filled with the conversation and laughter of over 1750 students. Our focus as we RECHARGE this year has been on making connections and building relationships in order to support our students in getting back to school and formulating routines for success.

Admin Corner

The Champe admin team is excited to be back together in the building with all of our incredible students and teachers. We look forward to an amazing year of partnering together to ensure the success of all of our students.

School Counseling

JCHS School Counselors have worked very hard to update student schedules and ensure the best fit for the start of the year for each and every Knight.

The Counseling Dept. and PTSA are joining up for two mock SAT events. The first, Saturday, September 11, takes place at Lightridge High School; the second, Saturday, September 25, will be hosted at Champe. Our knights are encouraged to attend either of these events, but students taking the official SAT in October would likely get more timely feedback from the Sept. 11 mock SAT event held at LHS. Please see the PTSA site below for registration details for the mock SAT events.

MAGIC Makers

Congratulations to Ms. Megan Richard and Mrs. Allison Wilbur for being selected as our first MAGIC Makers of the year for their amazing work with Camp Champe where they organized students and teachers in welcoming over 1000 students across all four grade levels.

In case you're wondering, MAGIC stands for "Making A Greater Individual Commitment", which is our school's motto. Let's celebrate MAGIC together this year!
