LHS Weekly Update

THIS WEEK

Wednesday, February 14th - 7:45 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.

9th & 10th Grade: Practice PSAT

11th Grade: Practice SAT

12th Grade: Asynchronous Learning Day

* Buses will pick up students at 12:00 after late room students are released

* Grab and Go lunches will be served

To help your student best prepare for success on these assessments we encourage students to:

1. Get a restful night’s sleep

2. Eat a healthy breakfast (Breakfast will be served at school from 7:15-7:40 am)

3. Bring a charged iPad and charger, calculator (optional) and a water bottle to school

All students need:

• iPad updated to IOS 17.2 or greater

• Bluebook app loaded on their iPad (download from self service)

• Need College Board Sign in Credentials

10th grade students with a weighted GPA of 3.5 or above have been invited to join the Longmont High School Chapter of National Honor Society via their school email. This is a group of 11th and 12th grade students who meet the GPA and service hour criteria. The informational form is due before spring break by 3/15/24. If students have questions about the group or need more information, please see Ms. Knapp in room 217 or email knapp_emily@svvsd.org.

Spring Sports

Boys Swimming & Diving, Baseball, Girls Soccer, Girls Tennis, Girls Golf, Track & Field

First day of practice for boys swimming is 2/19/24 and all other sports start on 2/26/24.

Registration is now open. Make sure you have a current physical on file. Follow these instructions to register.

The Spring Sports Parent Meeting is on February 12, 2024 @ 7pm in the LHS auditorium.
