A Note From Dr. Stewman

Our long weekend is here! Monday is the Labor Day Holiday. I hope you and your family have enjoyed a long weekend!

Over the past few weeks teachers and the Student Support Team have given assessments to students regarding phonemic awareness, phonics, reading and foundational math skills. Time has been built into the daily schedule to ensure that we provide EVERY child with the appropriate intervention or extension in reading and math to achieve at high levels. As always, thank you immensely for entrusting your children to us!

As we continue to navigate through bus shortages, which I know cause added stress for your families, please continue to help us get each child home safely by:

displaying your car rider tags in your rearview mirrors at dismissal.
being connected to our social media and the teachers' classroom communication tool.
using a parking space when picking up or dropping off your PK student.

Within the next 1-2 weeks, 4 parking spots will be designated at the front of the building for contactless, early pick up. Thank you for your patience with the process! The district is actively recruiting bus drivers, so if you know someone interested please encourage them to apply.

To be eligible to receive an EBT cards (SNAP) from the federal government you must complete a 2021-2022 Free and Reduced Lunch application. The cards will be mailed to the parents at your home address stated on the application.
