Thanks to a matching grant from the dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation, girls like this Crower Trade School sewing student will soon have a lodging facility where they can stay during their training.

A cooking school will also complement the welding, masonry, carpentry, and sewing trades currently offered. It will only take $20,000 to build a kitchen and dormitory that will empower young people in Tanzania to get the education they need for a brighter future! I need your help to make this happen, though. We have until June 1 to raise $10,000, and Healing Hands will match what we raise.

This is a great pasta salad for a potluck or picnic.

Ingredients

Pasta

1 (16-ounce) package bow-tie pasta

2 cups grape tomatoes, quartered

7 ounces fresh mozzarella, cubed

1 medium sweet yellow bell pepper, diced

½ small red onion, chopped

½ cup of pickled banana pepper rings

1 (2¼-ounce) can black olive slices

8 slices salami, chopped

½ cup fresh basil, thinly shredded

Dressing

¾ cup olive oil

¾ cup red wine vinegar

1 garlic clove

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon pepper

2 drops Basil essential oil

Instructions

1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and rinse in cold water.
2. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients, leaving dressing until last.
3. Mix dressing ingredients in a blender until emulsified.
4. Toss dressing with pasta until coated. Cover and refrigerate for one hour to allow flavors to mingle.
5. Serve in a large bowl and enjoy.

Tip: Keep refrigerated until you are ready to serve, to maintain freshness.

Forget the toxic chemicals of traditional cleansers and try these do-it-yourself Natural Toilet-Cleaning Pods using Purify Cleansing Blend. Purify’s refreshing and herbal aroma will quickly eliminate and replace unpleasant odors with a clean scent in a natural, safe way.

Ingredients:

1 cup baking soda

¼ cup citric acid

1½ tablespoon unscented castile soap

15 drops Purify Cleansing Blend

Instructions:

1. Stir the baking soda and citric acid together until combined.
2. Slowly stir in the castile soap and Purify. Stir until the mixture resembles wet sand.
3. Pack the pod mixture into a mold and let dry at least four hours. If the mixture expands above the mold, firmly press back down.
4. Once dry, remove the pods from the mold and store in an airtight container.
5. To use, simply drop one into the toilet, wait until the pod stops bubbling, and scrub away!
