CAR LINE UPDATE As of 8/17 - Don Tyson School of Innovation

An Important Update about the Car Line

Hello Phoenix Family,

We are constantly assessing the needs of our campus and families in regards to traffic. As a response to the traffic yesterday, PLEASE MAKE THE FOLLOWING ADJUSTMENTS:

Morning drop off: ANY GRADE may be dropped at either the EAST entrance or the CAFE
Afternoon pick up:

*6th & 7th grade students will be picked up at the CAFE - cars need to be in the right hand lane to proceed to the CAFE doors.

*8th - 12th grade students will be picked up at the EAST ENTRANCE - cars need to be in the left hand lane to proceed to the EAST ENTRANCE doors

If you have students in both groups, the younger student needs to go to the older student’s location. DO NOT STOP AT BOTH. For example: A student with a 6th grader and a 9th grader will pick up both students at the EAST ENTRANCE.

Your continued patience is so appreciated as we get everyone into the swing of things. We may make further adjustments as necessary, so please follow us on any/all social media to get the most up to date announcements about these plans.

Student Parking

Students must purchase a parking permit each year. The $20 fee may be paid online or in person with cash/check in the EAST OFFICE. Students must bring exact change.

Once complete, pick up paid permits in the EAST OFFICE
The student lot is the south lot near the PAC
Student drivers enter the building through the PAC doors

This form must be completed to request a parking permit. Online payment info is included in the form as well.

Transportation Information

The Springdale School District provides transportation to and from Don Tyson School of Innovation for students who live within the Springdale School District. Busses pick students up at the neighborhood location and take them to their zoned junior high school. A DTSOI transfer bus brings them to/from DTSOI.

During the first week of school, DTSOI teachers will be at each junior high school to make sure students know what to do and which bus will take them to/from DTSOI. See the junior high transportation schedule below.

The district's transportation website can give you specific transportation information and your student's bus number. Click the Bus Information button above.

Bus Information

Enter your address and look for the junior high information to know where your student will go to get on the transfer bus to DTSOI. It will also give you pick-up and drop off location information.
