It's the fourth quarter
Just like watching the Badgers play football, with the players and coaches raising 4 fingers to signal the 4th quarter, we have reached that milestone with our school year. The 4th quarter shows the real character of a football team, and I'm sure that it will show the real character of our students and staff. The students and staff are ready for a great 4th quarter, and with your help and support, I'm sure that we will end the school year strong!

Math Meet success!
In case you haven't heard, our Math Meet teams were quite successful this week. Our 7th and 8th grade team took second place at Regionals and are moving on to State in May. Our 5th and 6th grade team took sixth place at Regionals. Individual awards went to Micah (1st place) in 7th grade, Tim (2nd place) in 8th grade, Logan (3rd place) in 6th grade, and Timmy (5th place) in 6th grade. We are very proud of you!

Our first play in years!
I'm so excited that Mr. Werni and Ms. Kohnert are directing our students in a play this Spring. The play is called "30 Reasons Not To Be In A Play". The shows are Friday, April 28th at 7PM and Saturday, April 29th at 2PM and 7PM. The tickets are $5 and are available at the door as well as in the Intermediate School office. Exact change or checks payable to Merton School are accepted. All shows are in the Primary School gym. We hope to see you there!

Focused on the Forward Exam
Keeping focused
As we edge ever closer to Spring Break, and with the Forward Exam in the rear view mirror, our focus has truly returned to getting back into the regular routine. It's important for all of us, the adults at school and the adults at home, to maintain the high expectations that we have for our students. Ask them about their day, and maybe start with this question-
"What was the nicest thing you did for somebody today?" Let the conversation go from there.
