Hello Families,

We are off to a great start! Students are settling in and working hard. Our staff is focused on building relationships with their students and teaching students routines as well content. We appreciate all of the support you provide at home and look forward to seeing you on Curriculum Night on September 21st.

Please consider stopping by our PTO Open House on Monday September 12th anytime between 7:00 and 8:00 in the South Row cafeteria. Please park in the back parking lot and enter through the loading dock door. We will have signs! You will have a chance to meet the board and chat with volunteers that host a variety of fun family events here at South Row.

We will host our first High Five Friday on September 16th with the Chelmsford Fire Department.

CORI Check: On Curriculum Night you will have an opportunity to complete a CORI check in the main office from 4:30 to 5:00. We welcome family participation and volunteers and thought this would be a convenient time for many families to get this important task done.

Recess: Starting Monday, all students will have the opportunity to play at recess at all the different locations (playground, play pad, field, basketball court) with all classes in the respective grade level. Our kindergarten students will enjoy the playground and play pad for the time being. Our students and recess aides enjoyed the time getting to know one another.

Safety Drills: Over the upcoming weeks we will be conducting a few school-based safety drills such as a hold in place. These drills are designed to practice safety protocols with students and staff. Families will be communicated after drills. ALICE drills will take place later this fall and families will receive communication about those drills closer to the date.

Pictures Opt Out - Classroom/Building Based/Social Media: If you would like to opt out of having your child's picture shared via our family newsletter, classroom communication or on South Row social media please contact Mrs. Gilbert, Mr. Ramalho or Ms. O'Neill. Please specify what you are opting out of with regards to picture sharing.

Water bottles: Please send your student to school with a water bottle, especially in this heat! We have a few water bottle filling stations that students can use throughout the day.
