WELCOME!
Pirate Families,
Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year at Live Oak Learning Center…Where a Pirate’s journey begins! We hope you have enjoyed your summer and are looking forward to the new school year. Live Oak Learning Center is certainly eager to meet our Pirate students and families.
This year promises to be a year full of fun, achievement, and growth both academically and socially for our students. Together, we will strive for excellence as we create a positive culture, engaging learning environment, and valuable learning experiences for our students. This year we will also welcome two new parents to our Site-based Decision Making Committee. If you are interested in participating on this committee and learning more about the processes at Live Oak, please email Mrs. Poland at dpoland@acisd.org.
We will continue to seek opportunities to engage in meaningful conversations with you, our families and community, as we polish our craft and work for the greater success of our students. Our passion to teach your student anchors us in our work. Together we can encourage them, believe in them and empower each student to reach for greatness.
We are excited to share our campus with our students and families. Please join us on Monday, August 8th from 5-7pm for Meet the Teacher night. On behalf of the staff, thank you for entrusting your student with us. It is going to be a fantastic school year!
Proud to be you Principal,
Mrs. Poland
