Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month
The 33rd Hispanic Heritage Awards program airs on PBS on Tuesday, October 6th. The Public Broadcasting Service has lessons dedicated to celebrating Latino Americans that can be easily copied to your Google Drive and added to your canvas modules. The lessons range in complexity for 4th - 12th grade.

Students can take advantage of "at-home" learning opportunities with these 30 authentic Spanish recipes students can make at home.
Experimenting with foods and the scientific chemical changes that take place in the process, while reading recipes and measuring ingredients... cooking is an all-encompassing, cross-curricular, tech free activity.
