Thank You Veterans!

We are excited to be able to recognize and thank our Veterans on Friday, November 11! Breakfast will be served to our Veterans starting at 7:30 AM in the cafeteria and we will start the school day with an all school assembly (grades 6-12) at 8:15 AM.

Second Quarter

Wednesday, November 9 marks the midterm of the second quarter. Please be sure to check on students' progress regularly on Teacherease.

The second quarter of the school year seems to always take students by surprise. It goes very FAST. This is especially true for our students who participate in extra-curricular activities and work outside of the regular school day. Attendance and staying caught up will be very important.

National Honor Society

Congratulations to our 2022 National Honor Society inductees. Students were inducted on November 2, 2022. We are very proud of these students and look forward to seeing their continued success.

Mrs. Mendez - AOHS Guidance

Mrs. Mendez has organized helpful information for our students and parents / guardians on the Argenta-Oreana CUSD #1 High School website. The information can be accessed at AOHS Counseling Office.

Sophomores and interested juniors will have the opportunity to visit the Heartland Area Technical Academy at Richland Community College later this month. Students will be able to select programs that they are interested in learning more about.

Juniors and seniors will have the opportunity to attend the North American Building Trades Unions Career Day in Springfield. In addition to college visits, these opportunities are valuable for our students as they consider what they want to pursue in their time after graduating from AOHS.
