Searcy School District Board of Directors at the recommendation of Dr. Bobby Hart, superintendent of schools, hired Dean Stanley as assistant superintendent for support services, at a special called meeting tonight.
Stanley is the current superintendent of schools at White County Central. A Harding University alumnus, Stanley has served in a number of capacities over his 38- years career in education in the central Arkansas area. He has acted as an adjunct instructor in the Educational Leadership department at Harding University and has served as a member of its Counseling Program’s advisory board. Stanley’s experience also includes the addition of a number of extracurricular programs in the schools where he has acted as an administrator and teacher/coach.
