2024-2025 Classroom Teacher Requests
Potomack Intermediate is considering parent requests for classroom teachers for the 2024-2025 school year. Please keep in mind not all parent requests are able to be met for several reasons. Those reasons are:
The number of requests for each specific teacher
Required special education services
The date and time the request was made
State mandated class sizes
If you would like to request a classroom teacher for your student, please click the link below. Submissions must be in before Friday, March 1 so scheduling can begin.

Milton Hershey School Informational Meeting
Please see below for information regarding the Milton Hershey School.
Berkeley County STARTALK Program
STARTALK is a free language program funded by the NSA designed to teach students in grades 4th-8th grades how to speak Mandarin. This two week face-to-face program will coincide with the Summer SOLE program. A maximum number of 50 students from Berkeley County will be accepted into the program. Flyers are available in the front office!
Snow Day Update
As you know, Berkeley County Schools has used all five traditional snow days it has built into the calendar.
Any instructional days lost past day ten will be either taken from spring break or added to the end of the school year.
Remote Learning Schedule
In the event we move to remote learning days (days six though ten), Potomack Intermediate will utilize the following schedule pictured below during remote learning periods. Students will begin to take iPads home when forecasts predict weather with the potential to close school. Students will learn where to find the links to gain access to their classroom teacher's and specials teachers' virtual classroom.
