A NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
This has been a quick week! For those students who have registered, Mad Science started on Wednesday. We are fortunate to be able to offer part and full scholarships for students needing assistance. We are still looking for TWO or THREE volunteers to help out with Great Starts, which is held on Wednesday mornings from 8:15-9:20. If you or someone you know is interested, please reach out to Mrs. Doran at (207) 389-1514 or tdoran@rsu1.org.
As we move closer to colder, inclement weather, it is important for the safety of your child and all the children that our drop-off and pick-up procedures be followed. If you are transporting your child to or from school, please remain in the "car line." We recognize that the line is long and you may be pressed for time. Please be patient, stay in line, and wait your turn. Having students cross the street and/or walk between vehicles is extremely dangerous. Thank you for your cooperation.
MAD SCIENCE BEFORE SCHOOL ENRICHMENT PROGRAM
On Wednesday mornings from 8:15AM-9:20AM at PES (parents provide transportation to school), from October 11th through December 6th (skip Nov 22) Mad Science is offering Energize It! a 1-hour 8 week class for K-5 students, cost: $105. If your child is interested, please register today at: https://maine.madscience.org/parents-details-a.aspx?regItemSessionID=395968
We have our minimum, and still have 8 openings. FMI: 207-878-2222.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We still need volunteers for Great Starts during Late Start Wednesday mornings from 8:15-9:20AM; please call Mrs. Doran if you can help, 389-1514, and complete the volunteer form today at
https://www.rsu1.org/page/volunteer-information
Please allow one week prior to a field trip or event for processing.
