This holiday season, we are both extremely thankful and grateful for our hard-working teachers and staff, for our parents and community members, for our students, and also for the great things that are happening here at Lee Elementary. We are looking forward to a fun filled December. We want to thank each and every one of you for your continued support. We are more successful together. We want to wish you a safe and happy Christmas break. We want you to enjoy your time to relax with family and friends.

Join Mrs. Poteet and Mrs. Anderton on campus or virtually in monthly gatherings to learn more about what’s happening at Lee. We will meet the third Thursday of each month at noon. The virtual link will be shared through email.

Parents and guardians are invited to campus once a month to eat lunch with their child(ren) outside. Lunch times are listed below. You may bring food for your child or they can get a tray from the cafeteria. Please arrive early so that you have plenty of time to get settled in before your child's lunch time. We are looking forward to seeing you! Use the link below to RSVP.

In the case of bad weather, the lunch will not be rescheduled and will resume the next month.

We invite you to join us in our annual Christmas party celebrations. See times and grade level entrances below. Remember all treats must be store bought and labeled with ingredients.

PTO will be hosting our annual Christmas Store December 12th through the 16th.

They are looking for donations of Christmas bags for our elves to use to wrap the gifts your children purchase for you!

We invite your child(ren) to join our staff with our Christmas dress up days. Please know participation is OPTIONAL. You are free to pick and choose which days you want to dress up.

Due to the district hosting Academic UIL Competition and Christmas break, we will release early on December 9, December 16 and January 20. Buses will follow the early release schedule listed below.

To ensure a timely delivery, please drop off any forgotten lunch boxes before 10:30am. Students without a lunch will be allowed to purchase a tray from the cafeteria.

Each month, we will focus on a specific character trait. Mrs. Hogan provides daily announcements and guidance lessons regarding that trait to help the students put it in action. The trait for the month of December is JOY. The parent newsletter is also attached.

• School starts at 7:55 am and ends at 3:25 pm
• Tardy bell rings @ 7:55 am

Children not in the building by the 7:55 am bell are considered tardy. Please refer to our student handbook regarding our tardy policy. If your child is tardy, please do not drop your child off. For their safety, your child should be signed in at the office.

• If your child is absent, please send a note to the office by 3:25 pm on the day that they return.

• Please bring tennis shoes everyday for P.E.
