Seniors, if you need your final transcript sent to an institution please complete the form below and our Guidance Department will see that it gets there once finalized by the district.
We had a phenomenal turnout at International Night at our High School campus last week. Over 400 people attended! It was wonderful to see our school community gathering again to celebrate our students and enjoy each another’s company. We look forward to many more such activities next year.
Do you need to make-up a missed exam? The last possible days for make-ups are Monday and Tuesday. Please reach out to Mr. Koebe or Ms. Beeghly as soon as possible to discuss your options.
This Wednesday, May 25th is the last day of the 2021-2022 school year. Please remember that students are not to bring backpacks for those final three days. Their agenda and something to write with is all they will need.
I hope you all had a nice weekend and look forward to updating you on our students’ continued success next week.

OSS Summer Readiness Program
Good afternoon parents and guardians,
Orlando Science Schools is working to provide a Summer Readiness Program for those students needing additional support in mastering Florida State Educational Standards and upcoming courses, and would like survey parents to plan appropriately. Please review the information and complete the survey below.
During the program students will be provided face-to-face instruction with a classroom teacher. Our goal is to provide students with an opportunity to demonstrate competency and content focus to increase their academic success for the 2022-2023 school year. Courses are not considered a recovery option. They are intended to prepare students for the upcoming 2021-2022 school year. Course placements will be based on their academic history and progress.
The Summer Readiness Program capacity will be determined once the teacher survey is completed. The administration will be making final decisions about the course placements, which should match your student’s academic history and progress. Once the final schedule is determined, official Summer Readiness Program registration information we will be sent shared via email and newsletter.
Consistent and on-time attendance for the entire length of the program will be mandatory.
Academy information is subject to change per the teacher survey results.
Length of Program: Three (3) Weeks, Monday – Friday
Dates: June 6 - June 24
Time: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Fee: Free
Please complete this interest survey no later than Wednesday, May 4, 2022, 4:00 PM.

Happy Friday!!! The last Friday of the year! Woohoo!!! Seniors and 8th graders enjoy your graduations today and tomorrow. CELEBRATE!!
The end of the school year can bring on good feelings and a sigh of relief. Early mornings and assignments due are now at a pause. However, there are some things that will still need your attention, including your mental health. Taking this time during the summer to reenergize and replenish your cup is important and a great preventative tool to prepare yourselves for the upcoming term. Some may already have the whole summer planned out, while others may still be looking for ideas. Check out the suggestions below that will not only allow you to have some fun this summer, but it also strives to maintain positive mental health.

Reconnect with others
Practice mindfulness
Go for a drive or ride
