4TH GRADE NEWS
Your fourth grader is striving to do their best as they are entering into the month of December. They amaze us with their knowledge and skills everyday. We are beyond thankful to see them each day! Please make sure to remind them they are amazing!
Your mathematician dove into learning about fractions and will explore more about fractions this month. Please continue practicing multiplication math facts at home to help your child become a more fluent fact master! In reading we are learning about themes in a story and passage. In writing we will be in the revising stages of their Informational Reports. We will then share our reports with the class and celebrate their wonderful writing skills. Your scientist is exploring sound, waves, and engineering mystery 2. Does your child know all the Midwest and Northeast states on a map? We will have a quiz on knowing state locations before Christmas.
Thanks to all caregivers at home. We appreciate your guidance and support at home to allow your learner to be successful here at school.
5TH GRADE NEWS
Students in 5th grade have been busy learning about fractions, writing their informative writing piece, reading The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, researching what matter is in Science and discovering the 13 colonies in Social Studies.
