GMS Falcon Update

The annual Champaign County Arts Council Spring Show took place on Thursday night. Graham Middle School was well represented in artwork and student attendance, even with a multitude of spring sports participating in events.

Award winners included: Becca Wagner, Fynn Putnam, Taytum Cushard, Adelaide Shearer.

State testing is just around the corner. We ask that we ensure students are here on time, eat breakfast. Remind them that all we can ever expect is that students give their best effort, that's all that is within their control !

Grade 6 and 7 students all received a packet with information about the current fundraising opportunity to benefit DC accounts for future trips. We have additional packets in the office.

Reminder: Information for incoming grade 7 students:

Ohio Law requires that all seventh graders must have received multiple immunizations. Before starting school, students in the 7th grade must have a Tdap (Tetanus, Diptheria, and Pertussis) and a Meningococcal vaccine. Written proof of receiving these vaccinations must be on file in the school office. Students who do not have evidence of proper immunizations will be excluded from school after 14 days, per Ohio Revised Code.
If your doctor says immunization might be harmful to your student, a waiver must be on file. If you object to immunization for good cause, for example religious convictions, a waiver must be on file.

Kona Ice will be back at GMS on Tuesday, April 25th! Don't forget you can also prepay online for your student to enjoy one at lunch! Students are of course welcome to bring cash as well. Costs for size options are $3, $4, $5. All profits from the Kona Ice events will be going towards our building PBIS initiatives.

College for Kids and Teens is proud to partner with the Braxton Miller Foundation to offer new and immersive STEAM Camps! Our pre-college camps offer a memorable Clark State College experience as students are exposed to new and emerging academic programs and explore new areas of interest in STEAM, all while making new friends! Each student will receive daily breakfast, lunch, and a tee-shirt!
