Gator Greetings
We celebrated our January Gator Gathering today with school awards followed by Gator Pack time. Congratulations to the Pack of the Month, Ukulingana, who received the most Gator Golds during the month of December. During today’s Gator Gathering, Gator Packs split into small groups to complete a fun 4-Corners activity where students got to know fellow Pack members from different grade levels. Ask your child all about how to play 4-Corners and what were some of their favorites!
Picture Retake Day will be Tuesday, January 24th. Any student who is new to our school or did not have their picture taken last September should plan to be “photo ready” on January 24th. Picture order forms can be found in the front office and can also be accessed online.
Next Friday, January 27th, Kindergarten will be celebrating the 100th Day of School. Counting to 100 is a key academic standard in Kindergarten and it is something students practice every day. It will be a fun day celebrating this numerical milestone with activities throughout the day.
Thanks to all parents who signed up for Trivia Night. It is sold out! The Silent Auction is open to all families, regardless if you attend Trivia Night or not. There are many great items to purchase and also experiences on which you can bid. Check out Silent Auction information and link later in the Gazette. You can even bid for your student to be Principal/Assistant Principal for the Day with me or Mrs. Bobb!
It is not too late to purchase your tickets for Pacers Family Night. It is on Friday, February 3rd. The discounted ticket price includes a game ticket, drink, food, and Pacer’s hat. The Pacers are playing great, so take advantage of this deal to watch some NBA basketball and also see Allisonville friends! The Great North Run is scheduled for Saturday, March 11th at North Central High School and families can register for the Fun Run or 5K using the link in the Gazette. Our school goal is to have 150+ people register from Allisonville. If we reach our goal, we will receive $300 from the Washington Township Schools Foundation.
Several other upcoming dates to note are listed below. Have a good weekend!

Thank you PetSmart!
We are so grateful for PetSmart. They have donated stuffed animals for each student in Grades K, 1 and 2 to have a Book Buddy. Mrs. Weiger is having students choose a Book Buddy to read with, name them, and then practice reading with them. These stuffed animals make terrific listeners! They won’t interrupt, they maintain eye contact, and they won’t make you nervous while reading. They help students build fluency and confidence! Thank you, PetSmart!
