Our community engagement meeting for Edson, Fulham, Marlboro and Peers is scheduled for May 5th from 6:00-8:30pm. ALL schools in the our area will be presenting in a virtual format. We hope you will attend. (See below)

Thank you so much to Ecanlin Energy for your generous donation to our Breakfast program, the extra funds are much appreciated.

Thank you also to everyone who ordered from our Growing Smiles Fundraiser to support our school. Our delivery date is scheduled for Thursday, May 5th or this coming week however, they have stated that the delivery date is subject to change. Once we receive the order, we will send out an email for pickup times.

Science 6B and 6D had a visitor from Parkland Composite High School this week. Mr Andersen and Anna, a Physics 30 student, introduced a foam rocket project for the students to test. Students built rockets and then tested different launch angles.

Gr. 6 to gr.8 - Practices Monday 3:30pm-5:00pm and Wednesday 5:30pm-6:30pm until end of May.

Begins May 3rd!

The 2022 GYAC badminton tournament will be held on May 3rd in Edson. The location will be either YKCS in Glenwood (students needing to play there will be bussed there and back) or at Parkland. Once we receive informed on categories we will send it out. This tournament will be a double-knockout tournament which means two losses knocks you out of the tournament. There is no schedule available ahead of time as each bracket will be different depending on how many players are in each category. Students must bring food and water to sustain themselves for the day. It is expected that all players will be done by the end of regular schooling, however, they must wait at their respective host school until all players are done or eliminated from the competition, unless they are picked up by a parent. Good luck to all players and I hope you have some fun on the courts, Mr. Kelly and Miss Carpenter. Please contact us if you have any further questions.
