Staff of the week
Anne Menego was picked for staff of the week. She has been a secretary for three years.Annes Birthday is on September 15. She attended Butler R5 in MIssouri. For college she has attended Crowder in Cassville and Neosho. She has 6 children and a husband, 2 boys, and 4 girls. They have one Maltipek Chihuahua named Buddy. When she was a little girl, she wanted to be a psychologist. What she likes about Verona is that the school is family orientated, and that it’s a small school. When she’s not at school, she likes to camp, go to auctions, spend time with family( like sunday dinner), and teach her sunday school class. Her greatest accomplishment so far is being a mother.
Student of the week
Chase Golubski has been nominated as this week's Student of the Week. He displays great work ethic by always working hard and paying attention in class. Chase has chosen to enroll in the Marine Corps after high school, and with that work ethic, will do an amazing job for our country. He lives at home with his mom and his stepdad, and brother and sister. He likes Verona because of its small size and close community. His favorite teacher is Mr. Freeman. And although he thinks “Mr. Freeman is cool”, he would like to have shorter classes in school.
