We have started a new year. January Intersession was a great opportunity for students to have new learning experiences.
Monday, January 17th is a school holiday in remembrance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This is a day to make a difference. Volunteer, help others, register to vote.
January 24-28th- Holocaust Remembrance week. Discuss character pillar or respect and citizenship and they topic of bullying as a family.

FREE Weekly COVID-19 testing
SAISD and Community Labs is continuing to partner to provide weekly COVID-19 testing. Madison test on Wednesdays. Once you have signed your child up for testing, the QR code is valid for all future testing for the school year.* Sign up is quick and easy. Use the QR code below to register. It is recommended not to test for 90 days after testing positive, the test may still read positive. There may be some exceptions. Please contact Ms. Roy if you have any questions about sign-up. Contact our school nurse, Nurse Andrea if you have COVID-19 questions or call the Family Information line 210-554-2210 or review information posted by the CDC- https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/testing/diagnostic-testing.html#print.

Parent Workshops
Parents check out Family Power Hour! Workshops provide you with "social, emotional and academic support for your child's success". You can attend in-person or on Zoom. There are on-demand sessions available. There is also adult and community information and other training opportunities.
