Guided 365 Day Reflection Journal
Scripture For Grief, Recovery, & Joy for March 3

Today’s Scripture
Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.
1 Corinthians 16:13 ESV
Today's Guide
When preparing for today, think about the following: God Gives Us the Strength We Need to Stand Firm. We Are Not Alone. He is Always With Us.
Food For Thought
Today's scripture is as relevant today as it was when it was first written. It calls us to remain strong in our convictions even when it is difficult to or when it seems like we will lose it all. In a world of ever-changing values and beliefs, standing firm in your faith isn’t easy; in fact, God promises it won't be - He also promises to walk alongside us the whole way.
During times of adversity, it can be hard to stay focused on our beliefs, especially when we feel hopeless, outcasted, or shamed. And yet, despite all this, we have to remember that we have to stand firm in our faith and trust God with the outcome of whatever situation we are facing.
When facing grief, loss, or heartache, emotional turmoil can make it difficult to stand firm in our beliefs. We may feel like giving up or that God is not listening. These moments are an opportunity for us to lean into our faith even more, trusting that God will bring us through the trial stronger than ever before.
How can you refocus and stand firm in your faith today?
Gratitude
Gratitude is a powerful tool, especially when facing adversity. When it feels like we are losing it all, we need to pause and reflect on all that we have to be thankful for. Take a few moments and recall all the blessings and love in your life. Write them down as you think of them, even the small ones. When you are struggling, take this list out and remind yourself of all that you have to be grateful for.
Today's Prayer
Lord, When I spend time with You, I find my strength in You. Amen
