Ideas for using Chat GPT with your students!
- Brainstorm a list of thesis ideas for research
- Have ChatGPT write a skit based on a scenario (historical or modern) and the students have to perform it
- Play guess which passage/essay was written by ChatGPT
- Ask ChatGPT to imitate an author's voice and then critique the output
- Have students use ChatGPT to write word problems with topics of interest to them
- Ask students to grade ChatGPT's output on the rubric that scores their own work
- Use ChatGPT as a prediction tool, like "If WWI had not happened, how would the world be different?" and then analyze the results
- Ask ChatGPT to weigh the pros and cons of a debatable topic and have students use that as a starting point for discussion
- Use ChatGPT as a homework helper or to explain a topic
- Prompt ChatGPT to act as an expert: a biologist, a legal expert, a psychologist and have it answer questions about real-world scenarios
- Students can check for biases in the output of ChatGPT about any particular topic
