We would like to welcome you and your student to Helen Tyson Middle School! We are having a rising 6th grade day, for current 5th grade students, Thursday, May 12th. During the day, your student will be visiting us with their elementary classmates and teachers. We want to introduce ourselves and our school to our future Hornets. That same evening we will open our doors to families from 5:30pm - 6:30pm. This will be an opportunity for you to tour our school with your student and visit with administration, some teachers, and some of our current students. The evening event is a drop in event and you are welcome to come and go at your convenience between 5:30pm - 6:30pm. We look forward to building our partnership with you to ensure your student is successful in middle school.

We will be having future 'open house' type events as we get closer to the next school year. Information for those events will be posted to our social media. Now is a good time to follow us on your preferred social media to stay up to date on events.
