Editing and Previewing Lessons

eduCanon is a tool for teachers to create interactive lessons. Find an existing video on your favorite domain (YouTube, TeacherTube, or Vimeo) and insert questions at specific locations within the video. The video will not move forward until the question has been answered.


This is advantageous in the blended learning environment as you can chunk the content your students are watching with a reinforcing activity. It works on most modern browsers in both the PC and Mac settings.

Build Questions into your selected video

Pause the video at selected locations.

Insert the question and responses, selecting the correct answer as well. Use the preview button to see it from the student perspective.

Assign Lessons to Classes

Once your lesson is finished, assign it to a class with a due date.

Finding Lessons

The free version provides a utility to search your own video library. The premium version provides searching the entire eduCanon library.
