A Message from Dr. Hooks

Dear Hyde-Addison ES Families,
In the midst of these trying times, I hope this message finds you and your loved ones safe and out of harm’s way.
As we continue to witness unfathomable events, it is quite telling to live through transparent demonstrations of hypocrisy on full display. With so many levels of blatant duplicity being exhibited, it is understandable that many need to unpack their thoughts, feelings and concerns.
We acknowledge that there may not be definitive answers to the numerous questions, wonderings or in some cases bewilderment, running through our minds. Equity, anti-racism, social justice and basic decency and order are under attack and so many are posturing in silent complicity or even active engagement. But, please know that we are in this together, as a school community. The Hyde-Addison ES Administration and Student Support Team are here to assist.
