Owens Families,

We have some fun dress up days coming up as we are in the final countdown to STAAR testing. Only grades 3rd-5th STAAR test, but everyone can participate in dress up days. As always, dress up days are meant to be fun, not stressful. I would encourage you to participate in the days you already have items for or ones you can borrow.

We will NOT dress up on the first administration of STAAR, Tuesday, May 4th, as our fourth graders will be taking the writing test that day and do not need any distractions.

Our students in all grade levels have worked hard to prepare for STAAR and/or the next grade level. These fun days are to reward their efforts and hopefully minimize the stress that these state accountability test days can cause. Thanks for your continued support and encouragement as we get ready to shine the brightest on these tests!
