Thank you for an amazing first week of school! We appreciate your patience and flexibility as we navigate through arrival, dismissal, and bus routes! Our students are doing a wonderful job of learning the routines in their classrooms, hallways, and lunch room! They are so excited to see their friends and build a safe classroom community!

Reminder: If your child has been fully vaccinated, please email a photo of your child's vaccination card to the school nurse at verickson@saltcreek48.org or upload it directly to Skyward. This information will be kept in their confidential health file. Thank you for your continued help in preventing the spread of the virus.

Note: If your child is sick, please keep them home from school and contact your schools office to report the absence.

Please remind your child everyday that they must sit in their assigned seat on the bus. Mrs. Ross and Mrs. Scanlan are reminding students of our bus riding expectations daily. Please continue to reinforce this expectation with your children at home!

If you pick up your child at Salt Creek or Swartz, please put the car rider sign in your car window. This makes the process run more quickly! If you need more signs, please let us know! Please remember if your child's routine changes at all, please notify the proper school office by 1:30 p.m.

Feel free to send a water bottle to school with your child, especially on these hot days! Our water fountains are not being used this year, but we do have water bottle filling stations at both schools!

Curriculum Night Schedule-

Stella May Swartz is Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 6:30-7:30 pm.

Salt Creek Primary is Wednesday, September 14, 2022 from 6:30-7:30 pm.

Join the Salt Creek School District 48 community as the FTC hosts a Beginning of the Year Social on Friday, August 26th from 5:30-7:30pm. The event will be held at Stella May Swartz. There will be a taco truck, snow cones and concessions for sale. Please bring your own chairs or blankets for seating! Celebrate the beginning of the school year with friends and families!
