Things You Should Know
- The book fair is open this week in the library Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:20 AM - 4:00 PM. The book fair will also be open on Sunday during Trunk or Treat from 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM.
- Red Ribbon Week is this week! Look at the flier below for more information!
- A friendly reminder to please send your children with jackets and coats to school. We will have outdoor recess until the temperature is 20 degrees. It is also very helpful to have your child's name written on the tag in the coat!
- Please see the Halloween Costume guidelines below as you chose your child's Halloween costume.
- On Wednesday, during arrival, students who ride the bus will be conducting an emergency bus evacuation drill. Students will participate in this as soon as they arrive on the Crestwood campus. We conduct these drills with First Student so students are aware of what to do in case of an emergency.
- Please check out Peach Jar for information about Veteran's Day. We would like to honor any Veteran's Day heroes that are relatives of our Crestwood students. Please go to Peach Jar for more information!
- If you catch your child(ren) reading or writing at home, in the car, at a restaurant, or anywhere...please send a photo to Mrs. Oliver @ jodioliver@lindberghschools.ws
- During dismissal in the afternoon please remember that all cars picking up need to leave the lot by making a right turn only. This is helps our buses to get into the lot and is a safer procedure for vehicles exiting the lot.
If your child is sick please make sure to call the attendance hotline. This helps us to know why your child is absent and prevents us from contacting you throughout the day to find out why your child is absent from school. It is available 24 hours a day at 729-2435.
Kiwanis Gently Used Winter Wear Drive Oct. 15-Nov. 16, 2018
Our school in cooperation with Crestwood-Sunset Hills Kiwanis Club will be collecting gently used winter wear items for students in need. Please bring gently used coats, mittens, hats, boots, gloves, scarves, ear muffs, ski masks, snow pants, warm socks or thermal underwear and place them in the blue bin that will be in our school lobby. The winter wear drive will take place from Mon Oct. 15- Fri Nov. 16, and will benefit students in Lindbergh schools, and Meramec, Monroe and Patrick Henry elementary schools in St. Louis city.
Food Service Survey
Chartwells, at Lindbergh School District, is conducting a short survey to gather feedback on school food service. The survey questions are meant to be completed by parents and elementary students together. Please follow the link below to give us your input before the end of October so we can pull the results together in November. We appreciate all feedback!

Updated Incident Reporting Form
The district is now using a universal incident reporting form for parents, students or staff to report any safety concerns at school. This form should be used to report bullying and other incidents that may need to be investigated by school officials. Parents, students, and staff can also access the reporting form by visiting go.lindberghschools.ws and clicking “Student Services” under the “Departments” tab.
