Transportation Reminder: As our bus drivers get acclimated to their schedule routes, please allow extra time (approx. 10 minutes) the first few weeks of school.

Snacks/Water Bottles: Please remember to send your child to school with a snack and a water bottle. All classrooms have snack scheduled into their day.

Food Services: You will notice menus below. Please be advised that items are subject to change. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

CORI Forms: To volunteer in your child's classroom, field trip, etc. a CORI form must be completed. After completion, they are valid for up to 3 years. CORI forms must be completed in person with our main office staff during business hours, no appointment is needed. A valid drivers license is needed at the time of completion.

Pictures Opt Out - Classroom/Building Based/Social Media: If you would like to opt out of having your child's picture shared via our family newsletter, classroom communication or on South Row social media please contact Mrs. Gilbert, Mr. Ramalho or Ms. O'Neill. Please specify what you are opting out of with regards to picture sharing.

Grade 3 and 4 Families: Please join us in reminding your child(ren) if they have ordered breakfast to go directly to the cafeteria upon arrival to school. Students should go directly to the cafeteria to grab their breakfast and then to classrooms. This is ONLY for grade 3 and 4 at this time. K-2 breakfasts will be already in the classrooms.

Recess: Students will continue traveling with their respective classrooms to various locations at recess next week. This is designed for children to develop relationships with their classmates and recess aide. Starting the week of September 11th, students will be able to travel to all locations at recess. Kindergarten typically stays on the playground and playpad.

Interested in Volunteering in the Library?: Ms. Hamm is once again looking for volunteers in the Library. If you are interested in volunteering during your child's Library time, you can send her an email at hammm@chelmsford.k12.ma.us any time! Thank you!

CORI forms are required to be able to volunteer for our school day events and activities. If you filled out a form during a different school year please check in with the front office to find out if yours is still current. They have to be renewed every 1-2 years. So next time you find yourself at school please bring your ID and stop by the office so they can help you get yours updated and ready to volunteer at school. Thank you for giving your time as a volunteer this year!

ALL ARE INVITED to our first PTO meeting of the year! Actually it's not really a meeting, we'll be gathering to chat or catch-up and get to know each other and our committee leaders. We'll have one bit of business to tend to, everyone present will get to hear and vote on the proposed budget for this school year. There will be snacks too! I hope we will see many of you there. Monday September 11th at 7pm in the cafeteria (please use the loading dock door off of the main parking lot to enter).
