Class Placement Input (2023-2024)
We have an excellent staff, and so it is our hope that you will just trust our expertise with the input from your child’s current teacher to determine the best placement for your child for the upcoming school year.
We recognize that parents also have good insights into how their children learn. If you would like to request that certain information be considered in assigning a placement, please complete this Class Placement Request Form. The most helpful comments speak to specific insights you have about your child as a learner. Please consider the following guidelines regarding the placement request process:
1. Please do not request a specific teacher.
2. If you have more than one child, please complete a separate form for each student.
3. There is no guarantee that a request will be fully honored.
4. We look for the teacher match first. Some request friends to be in the same class together, but the teacher match is a higher priority.
5. All information is kept confidential and only read by Dr. Dwyer and Mrs. Sobotka.
*All requests must be submitted by Monday, April 3.
Have a wonderful day!
Dr. Dwyer

Student Behavior Expectations
We are delighted to reward students for great behavior. The new book vending machine is part of this incentive program. Just a reminder we expect students to be respectful, responsible and safe in all settings. Teachers and Administrators value the parent partnership and if a situation occurs we will work together to resolve the matter. For your reference the updated behavior form is attached here to view.
Electronic Device Policy
Cell phones and other electronic devices are to be powered off and kept in the student’s locker during the school day. Any digital communications device (e.g., “smart” watch, GPS tracker, etc.) must be kept in the student’s locker during the school day.
