PACK Guardians,

PSAT - Are you the guardian of an 8th grade student? If so, please read this PSAT letter to learn more about the PSAT test that is this upcoming Wednesday. We will be a closed campus during that time.

Absences - We have seen an uptick in guardians trying to turn in absence documentation very late. We are required to have that documentation within three days of the absence. Please make sure to send us your doctor's note or other excuses ASAP. You can always email them to hubbardattendance@tylerisd.org

Lunch charges - Please check this Hubbard Lunch list for your child's student ID. If their ID is on the list, then you previously qualified for free lunch but we do not have a current application. You will now begin being charged for lunches. Please go online and fill out the application through food services.

Ever seen what hydrogen peroxide does to chicken liver? Just ask a 7th grader and they will tell you!

Our boys team won district this year and won 4 meets which is the most any team has ever won in a season at Hubbard.

Our boys team of Mason Heller, Logan Adams, Joseph Peveto, Drew Wisner & John Tompkins finished 2nd , 3rd , 4th , 5th & 10th overall in district individually.

Our girls team placed 2nd and Emma Feldman was the district individual champion. Langley Merrick was the 7th grade girls champion and Sloane Tefteller was the runner up in 7th grade overall.

Thank you to everyone who approved their child for participating in our leadership day with Sources of Strength! We made some great relationships with and between kids to help build our leadership capacity in our student body.

Is your child struggling and in need of tutorials? Then we have something for you! We printed five of these large poster size tutorial schedules and placed all over campus. In addition, it is located on our website so you can tell them where and when they need to go!

This week, Grace Community found out that we had some families in need of food. What did they do? They filled the need and brought us a load of goodies. If you are struggling and in need of help, please reach out to our wonderful counselors Eleni Fancher(A-L) and Sarah Norris (M-Z).

Our PTA "Loves our teachers to the CORE" and provided a candy apple bar this week! Thank you for supporting our PTA!

This week we have had some crazy dress up days and enjoyed cheering our our different teams for homecoming!

This is a great event for all middle school students at the CTC where they can gain information about, and perk their interest towards, different career pathways for their future.

Calling all of our 6th grade future Red Raiders! Please join us for Tyler Legacy Future Red Raider Night sponsored by Whataburger. Come out and support your Tyler Legacy Football team at middle school night. Wear your Red & Black, meet us at 6:35 PM to run through the tunnel and then stay to cheer on our Red Raiders. We are offering free admission to the game for our students with the purchase of a Future Red Raider T-shirt AND a paying adult admission. (Purchase of the shirt is not required to run through the tunnel.) T-shirts may be purchased using THIS LINK.
