CHIPS Weekly Update

School Picture Days will be October 10th & 11th. Order forms have been sent home with students and emails have been sent to families with instructions for people who would like to order online. If you're unsure which day is your child's picture day, please reach out to your child's teacher or the CHIPS main office.

CHIPS Open House will be held on Thursday, November 16th from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Please note that, due to a scheduling conflict, this is a change from the originally scheduled date. More information will be shared as we get closer to the open house!

• October 19- No School- Professional Development
• November 7- No School- Professional Development
• November 10- No School - Veteran's Day

The next PTO meeting will be held Monday, November 6 at 6:30 in the CHIPS cafeteria. A link is below for those who'd like to join virtually.

As we move into the fall months, please inform the nurse if your child has or will be starting new seasonal allergy medications or routines. This may help determine when your child simply has the sniffles from the environment, has a pesky cough from asthma or if it could be the start of a new virus. Speaking of viruses, please review below information about the 'FLU' and consider having your family vaccinated. As always, please discuss with your family doctor. If you are a family in need of a pediatrician for your child, please reach out to Nurse Kristen Lynch personally.

Please use our absence line (978-251-5188 Option 0) or use our attendance email (chipsattendance@chelmsford.k12.ma.us) to report your child's absence from school and be sure to state the reason for the absence (illness, appointment, travel, etc).

Nurse Kristen can be reached by calling the CHIPS main number (978-251-5188) and selecting option 3.

Our CHIPS Little Free Library- such a fun way to help foster a love of reading in our preschoolers! Feel free to stop by with your child and borrow a book! Please remember to return the book when you are finished:) If you have books at home that you would like to donate, please put them in the Little Library or send them into CHIPS with your child. Thank you!!
