We had a great, short week after the three day mini-break. We are excited to welcome our families for spring parent conferences starting this week and to see everyone at the 2nd Grade Spring Musical at EHS on Monday at 6:30!

We hope that you are all enjoying reading The One and Only Ivan with your children and are working to help build our students' reading comprehension through our Crosswell Book Cub! Links below for the reading schedule and recordings of our staff reading the chapters aloud.

Last week we shared our Leader in Me MRA Parent Survey. Please help us by completing this survey as we complete our first year of LIM implementation. If you decide to participate, you will be asked to complete a survey (without sharing your name or other identifying information) that will be available through the weblink below. The parent/guardian survey takes about 12 minutes to complete and will ask questions about your child and about his or her experience in our school.

Parents can receive an email of their child’s progress from Schoology. They can choose which days and times they would like to get the update! For example, daily at 2:30 PM OR every Thursday at 4:00. They can also click a button to receive an automated email notification for missing assignments. This and other helpful tips can be found by clicking on Schoology at the top of our SDPC webpage!

What does it mean to Synergize?

Synergy is celebrating differences, working together, being open minded, and finding new and better ways. This means that I know everyone is good at something. I know that everyone needs to get better at something, and I know that we can all learn something from each other. Working in groups helps create better ideas than what one person can do alone.
