PES Notes
Week of September 19th-23rd
That was a long, short week
Hello PES Family,
I hope that each of you has been able to enjoy your weekend. I love watching social media and seeing so many of our students playing ball, dancing, gymnastics, etc. These opportunities and memories are setting the stage for so many more to come. I am thankful that the teachers and staff at PES can be a small part of it.
For our 2nd -4th-grade students, we will give our 9-week CASE assessments over the next few weeks. We will complete science and social studies this week, with math and ELA taking place next week. Please keep up with your child’s paid sheet for the exact schedule. You can find a link at the bottom of this newsletter.
As I have for the past few weeks, I want to remind you about the importance of reading with your child. 20 minutes a day would make such a huge difference with them. If you do not know where to start, come by Monday evening, September 26th, at 5:45 for our next family reading night. We will have family activities for you guys to do together to help with this process. We will also have some pizza and drinks for you to snack on.
If we can ever be of assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to Coach Marshall or me. I hope each of you has a great week.
