Our school counselors having been meeting 1:1 with students in grades 9-11 to discuss and input their scheduling selections for the 2023-2024 school year. Feel free to reach out to your child's school counselor with any scheduling related questions.

The event is planned for Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 8:00 - 11:00 PM in the Coffman Aux Gym. Tickets may be purchased online beginning Monday, February 6th via HomeTown Ticketing. Beginning in 2016, school districts in Ohio were required to select and administer a college entrance exam during the school day for the junior class at no charge to the student. The state’s decision to add this assessment opportunity aims to support students in meeting graduation requirements and planning for their futures. It is Ohio law that the District administer a college entrance exam free of charge. Dublin City Schools will be administering the SAT to all 11th grade students this school year on Thursday, March 2, 2023. This will be a regular school day for students in grades 9, 10 and 12. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your student's school counselor or building administrator.

One Dublin is making its free shop more accessible by no longer requiring a referral. The free shop is open to anyone in the Dublin City School district who is in need of clothing and household items. Anyone 18+ with proof of residency can make an appointment by calling/texting 614.726.6958 or emailing info@one-dublin.org.

DCHS is once again helping to build a primary school library in Malawi. Now through Friday, February 10, 2023, we will be accepting donations of gently used children’s books. Click HERE for details or contact Melanie Hitsman in the library.

The Community Champion Awards is an awards program sponsored by the Dublin Chamber Civic Foundation and Dublin City Schools that recognizes students and staff who exemplify what it means to be a good role model for the community. These awards aim to nurture young citizens who engage in society through leadership and service, and honor students and staff of Dublin City Schools who exemplify the best of volunteerism, character, leadership, and a sense of caring and responsibility for others. To nominate a deserving student or staff member, please complete the online application by February 20, 2023.

Seniors are eligible to apply for a Community Champions Scholarship. The application can be found HERE. The scholarship application deadline is February 20, 2023.

As the seasons change, we like to remind families of the many ways Dublin City Schools will notify you in the event we encounter inclement weather. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our Winter Weather Procedures that can always be found on the District Website.

Twilight School is an after-school program staffed by Coffman teachers that provides students with homework help. It will take place every Wednesday in the DCHS library from 3:00 pm to 4:45 pm. Students do not need to remain at Twilight School the entire time and will have the freedom to leave early if needed. Transportation will be provided at 4:45 pm. Our Lost and Found is over flowing! If your student is missing a jacket, sweatshirt, water bottle, lunch box etc, have them check the Lost and Found. It is located in the hallway nook around the corner from the Attendance Office. At some point in the near future unclaimed items will be donated to charity. Thank you!

Time is running out to place a Cap & Gown order. To guarantee delivery in time for graduation, orders must be received ASAP @ buckeyescholastic.com/dublincoffman/. Thank you!

NACAC Spring College Fair

The National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) is sponsoring a Spring College Fair, Saturday, February 11, 1-4 p.m. at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
