Thank you to the many families that came out and celebrated our students that have exhibited the 8 Keys of Excellence in the first quarter. We are so very proud of our Buffalos! A few additional reminders:

• Picture Update- Student picture packets are set to be shipped too us around 10/24. They should come home with students the first week of November.

• Site Council- Buffalo families are invited to apply to be part of our Site Council. Site Council meetings provide parents with more information regarding school policies and happenings, and it also allows for dialogue regarding things happening at Berryton and Shawnee Heights collectively. If interested check out the link below.

• Upcoming Parent Teacher Conferences- Sign up below to reserve a Parent Teacher conference time. Conferences will be offered via Zoom or in person again this year. Please note that Sign Up Genius will be closed as of Monday morning so if families still need a conference time they will need to contact the classroom teacher directly. We also invite families to sign up to assist with staff meals during conferences.

• Volleyball Intramurals- Intramurals for Volleyball are coming soon for our 5th and 6th graders. Click on the button below to sign up.

• Veteran's Day Parade- We are excited to welcome all veterans to BES on 11/11 at 2 pm for a drive-thru parade. If you have a loved one attending please take a second and RSVP for your veteran.

As an elementary principal I enjoy working collaboratively with staff members to support student learning. I am passionate about continuing to learn professionally, and building relationships with staff and students at Berryton Elementary. When I'm not serving at Berryton Elementary I am usually with my husband and two sons. We can be found at sporting events, cheering on Kansas State University, or just enjoying a movie at home.
